Any U.S. Violation Will Be Met with a Reciprocal Response
WANA (Jun 19) – In a statement, the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said that it is closely monitoring the implementation of the recent understanding between Iran and the United States and warned that any violation or breach by the U.S. side would trigger a pre-planned reciprocal response.
The statement assured Iran’s Supreme Leader and the Iranian people that, in carrying out his directives—particularly regarding safeguarding the rights of the Iranian nation and the Resistance Front, honoring the blood of Iran’s martyrs, and advancing future negotiations based on the interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran—there would be no compromise or leniency.
The Secretariat further stressed that, given Iran’s complete distrust of the United States due to its history of breaching commitments and breaking promises, the negotiation process and implementation of agreements will be monitored with utmost precision. It emphasized that any failure by Washington to uphold its commitments would be met with a predetermined reciprocal measure by Iran.
The statement also reaffirmed that Iran will continue pursuing the full restoration of the Iranian nation’s rights and justice for its fallen martyrs.
