WANA (Jun 12) – Local sources have reported hearing multiple explosion-like sounds in the waters off the coast of Sirik in southern Iran’s Hormozgan Province, while the source and cause of the incidents remain unknown.

 

According to initial reports, the first blast was heard approximately two kilometers offshore in the Persian Gulf. Local residents described the sound as a loud explosion coming from the sea, though no official information has yet been released regarding the nature of the incident.

 

Subsequent reports indicated that similar sounds were heard again in the same maritime area. Witnesses said the explosions appeared to occur at different intervals, drawing the attention of residents and observers in the region.
