WANA (Jul 12) – The Public Relations Office of the Iranian Army announced that, in response to what it described as continued U.S. attacks on areas in southern Iran, it has launched a new wave of drone operations targeting U.S. military positions in the region.

 

According to the statement, Iranian suicide drones targeted a U.S. Patriot air defense system, an ammunition depot, and a radar site at a U.S. military base in Kuwait.

 

The statement added that, in a separate wave of drone attacks, Iranian forces also struck a U.S. communications system and a radar site in Bahrain.

 

The Iranian Army warned that the United States and its allies would bear responsibility for the consequences of continued military actions in the region. It also stated that any further attacks would be met with a stronger response from Iran’s armed forces.
