WANA (Julu 26) – Friday, July 28th, is the 10th day of Muharram in the Islamic calendar, which is known as Ashura day and is considered the most significant mourning ceremony for Shias.

 

Iranians in all cities of Iran will come to the streets in the form of mourning parades to express their grief for Imam Hussain and his family’s death and commemorate the battle of Karbala.
