WANA (May 17) – Eslami, the head of Iran’s atomic Agency, said today that IAEA is not responsible for the negotiations of the Agency, which is commenting on the JCPOA. “Our relationship with the Agency is based on safeguards and NPT.” He said the Agency’s oversight remains in place.

 

According to Eslami’s remarks, there have been no defects in the relations between Iran and the IAEA, and the Agency’s monitoring continues.

“Grossi expressed his satisfaction with Iran’s cooperation with IAEA,” Islami said

 

Grossi recently said in an interview with Canada’s CBC channel: “The possibility of revitalizing the JCPOA soon is fragile.”
