Iran Unveils Cutting-Edge Drone

WANA (AUG 22) – Marking the Defense Industry Week in the Iranian calendar, the nation took a significant leap forward in military technology today as the Iranian army proudly introduced the world to its latest creation, the “Mohajer 10” drone.

 

The unveiling ceremony, held in the presence of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi, showcased a drone full of innovative features that promise to reshape the landscape of aerial warfare capabilities.

The “Mohajer 10” drone, a true symbol of power, combines cutting-edge engineering with strategic flexibility. The remarkable features of the drone include the capacity to accommodate a wide range of precision bombs and missiles, carrying up to 300 kg of cargo; the drone ascends to altitudes of 24,000 feet, allowing it to execute operations in various landscape and combat scenarios. With an operational radius of 2000 km and an impressive average speed of 210 km/h, the “Mohajer 10” is positioned to address a spectrum of defense requirements.

 

One of the most striking attributes of the “Mohajer 10” is its remarkable endurance, with a maximum flight duration of 24 hours while carrying a substantial cargo. It is also adaptable to various electronic warfare systems.

 

President Ebrahim Raisi spoke at the military achievement unveiling ceremony, highlighting their positive impact on Iran’s image and the world’s perception of Iran. “Yesterday (Iran was seen) as a consuming country and in need of others, and today Iran is seen as a producing country and a country that can express the highest words in military and defense industries.” Said President Raisi.

 

At the same time as the Defense Industry Week festivities, President Raisi declared the beginning of the transfer of a number of “Khorramshahr” and “Haj Qasim” strategic missiles to both the armed forces and the aerospace units of the IRGC.

 

This step underscores Iran’s dedication to maintaining a solid defense posture while harnessing advanced technologies for the nation’s security.

 

As the curtains draw on this monumental event, the “Mohajer 10” drone stands tall as a testament to Iran’s strides in defense technology. With its multifaceted capabilities and operational prowess, it promises to reshape the future of military flight and support Iran’s position on the global defense stage.
