WANA (Jun 5) – Nasser Kanani, the spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, announced today that in completing the process of implementing bilateral agreements between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia to resume relations, the Iranian Embassy in Riyadh, the Iranian Consulate General in Jeddah and the Permanent Representative of Iran to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) They would be officially reopened on Tuesdays and Wednesday.

 

Before the departure of the Iranian pilgrims, the Iranian Embassy and Consulate General started their practical activities to facilitate the Haj pilgrims’ affairs. Now these agencies will be officially reopened with the presence of officials from the foreign ministries of the two countries.

 

The Iranian side has yet to reveal when the Saudi embassy in Iran will be reopened.
