WANA (Mar 17) – “Iran is a real threat, and that’s why Germany and others are trying to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear bomb,” the German chancellor, Olaf Scholz said in a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister yesterday.

Following these statements, Naser Kanaani, the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry reacted.

Kanaani, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman:

“It is surprising that the German officials present Iran’s peaceful nuclear program as a threat under the heaviest supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, but they do not say anything about the threats of the fake, occupier and illegal Zionist regime’s vast arsenal of nuclear weapons for the region and the world!”

“The independent countries and the public opinion of the world are fed up with such positions and behaviors based on double standards, and day by day they are becoming firmer in this summary, to what extent the claims and accusations of some western governments against the Islamic Republic of Iran are hypocritical and invalid.”
