The visit comes amid discussions with Tehran on the origin of uranium particles enriched to up to 83.7% purity, very close to weapons grade, at its Fordow enrichment plant.

Iran has rejected these claims and believes that this was the mistake of the agency’s reporter and that the issue can be resolved technically and without a political perspective.

Ulyanov, the permanent representative of Russia in international organizations, wrote on Twitter that the issue of Iran’s 84% enrichment was successfully resolved.
