We Will Strike Economic Centers in the Region if Our Key Facilities Are Targeted

WANA (Mar 03) – Brigadier General Ibrahim Jabbari, Senior Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, emphasised in a televised interview that “We have told the enemy that if you intend to harm our key facilities, we will strike all the economic centers in the region. They should know that we will carry out this action.”

 

He further added, “We have closed the Strait of Hormuz. Oil prices have now risen above $80 per barrel, and soon they will reach $200. The United States, which relies on oil for its survival, is already facing internal debts and problems.”

 

The senior advisor also stressed, “We have seen how the United States attacks countries over oil, and it is thirsty for oil. They should know that we have closed the Strait of Hormuz, and we will not allow ships to pass through. We have also declared to the world that any country attempting to take fuel from here will be targeted. So far, we have struck several ships.”

 


Iranian Army Statement No. 9: Six Advanced Enemy Drones Downed

 

WANA (Mar 03) – The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued its ninth official statement, detailing the latest successful interceptions by the country’s integrated air defense network.

 

Over the past day, the systems of the Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Headquarters intercepted and destroyed six advanced Hermes drones. These successful engagements took place in the regions of Isfahan, Qasr-e Shirin, Tabriz, Khuzestan, and the Greater Tehran area.

 

Since the beginning of the conflict, a total of 35 advanced drones belonging to the aggressor enemy have been targeted and downed. These operations were carried out by Army Ground Defense units, Air Force fighter jets, and IRGC units, all operating under the command of the Integrated Air Defense Network.

WANA (Mar 03) – Aerial bombardments persisted across the Iranian capital and several major cities today as the conflict intensified. In the latest wave of attacks, Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran and Payam International Airport in Karaj were targeted by enemy strikes.

 

While the extent of the damage to aviation infrastructure is still being assessed, these strikes mark a significant escalation in the targeting of civilian and logistical hubs within the country’s central corridor.

Defense Ministry Spokesperson: “Each Commander Has at Least Three Successors”

 

WANA (Mar 03) – The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense emphasized that for every commander, at least three successors have been designated, ensuring that no leadership gaps will occur following the martyrdom of commanders.

 

“The enemy thought that if they martyr our leader at the beginning of the imposed war, we would collapse, but they were mistaken in their calculations,” he added.

 


Destruction of the Second U.S. THAAD Missile Defense System in the Middle East

WANA (Mar 03) – Public Relations of the IRGC announced that “The second U.S. THAAD missile defense system in West Asia was struck by precision-guided missiles from the Aerospace Force of the IRGC, rendering it operationally disabled.”

 

Yesterday, the THAAD radar stationed at the Al Ruwais base in the UAE was also destroyed.

 

With the destruction of these two systems, Iran’s missile forces now have a clear path to successfully strike their targets.

In a statement published on X, the IAEA noted: “Based on the latest available satellite imagery, the IAEA can now confirm the existence of some recent damage to the entrance buildings of the Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP) underground facility. These damages are not expected to have radiological consequences, and no further new impacts have been identified at the Natanz site itself, which was previously severely damaged during the June conflicts.”

WANA (Mar 03) – The Iranian Red Crescent has reported a significant increase in casualties following the ongoing U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran. As of now, 153 cities across the country have been affected, with 504 locations struck by missiles. The total number of recorded attacks has reached 1,039.

 

Field reports indicate that at least 787 people have been martyred in these attacks, with continuous search and rescue operations, rubble removal, and medical assistance ongoing. A total of 1,009 operational teams, comprising 3,651 rescuers and relief workers, have been involved in the efforts.

 


U.S. Casualties in the Conflict Rise to Six

 

WANA (Mar 03) – U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) acknowledged on Monday evening that the death toll for American forces has increased to six, following the discovery of the bodies of two soldiers who had been previously reported missing. In a statement, CENTCOM confirmed that the remains were recovered from a facility that had been targeted in the initial Iranian strikes in the region.

 


Israel Announces Casualties from Ongoing War with Iran

 

WANA (Mar 03) – The Israeli Ministry of Health reported that in the past 24 hours, 289 Israelis were wounded and transferred to hospitals due to the ongoing conflict. According to reports, a total of 1,050 Israelis have been injured since the start of hostilities with Iran, with 289 of these casualties occurring in the last two days. Of the wounded:

 

  • 4 are in critical condition, with half of them not directly injured by missile attacks.
  • 21 are in moderate condition.
  • 75 have sustained minor injuries.
  • No one is in critical condition at the moment, and 2 others remain under medical examination.

 


8 Emergency Vehicles Damaged in Airstrikes in Tehran

WANA (Mar 03) – The head of Tehran Emergency Services reported that eight ambulances and support vehicles were damaged in airstrikes carried out by Israel and the United States yesterday.

 

Mohammad Esmail Tavakoli explained that, despite the damage to several ambulances and support vehicles, as well as the injury of a number of staff members, emergency services in Tehran have continued without interruption and at full capacity.

 

Tavakoli added: “One ambulance was completely destroyed by fire, three others were taken out of service, and five support and operational vehicles were also rendered inoperable.”

 

Despite these losses, Tehran Emergency Services officials assured that they are standing by the people of Iran, with medical emergency services continuing uninterrupted across the province. Operational teams remain fully prepared to assist citizens.

WANA (Mar 03) – The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued its eighth official communique detailing offensive operations carried out against enemy positions and forces since the early hours of today. The statement detailed:

 

  • Naval Actions: Since dawn, the Army Navy has targeted enemy vessels and regional bases using surface-to-surface missiles.
  • Coordinated Strikes: Combat and “suicide” drones from the Army’s Ground, Air, and Naval forces were launched from various locations across Iran.
  • Targets: These strikes targeted military zones of the Israeli regime in the “occupied territories” and U.S. military bases at Al-Udeid in Qatar.

“During a drone attack by the IRGC Navy on a gathering point of American terrorist forces in the city of Dubai, UAE, more than 160 terrorist marines were present. According to field reports, American casualties in this combined drone-missile attack carried out by IRGC Navy combat units are estimated at over 40 killed and more than 70 wounded.”

WANA (Mar 03) – The hacker group “Hanzala” reported hacking the Sharjah National Oil Company. This group of hackers announced that they had extracted 1.3 terabytes of sensitive information, including financial records, contracts, and internal documents of the company.

 

The hacker group further stated: “No one is safe. Not even a drop of oil will pass. You will see.”

 


Details of the IRGC Drone Attack on the U.S. Military Base in Kuwait

 

WANA (Mar 03) – The public relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) provided details of the 13th wave of “Promise Fulfilled” operations.

 

The IRGC’s public relations office stated that the new wave of attacks on the Arifjan base in Kuwait, where U.S. Marines are stationed, was successfully carried out with 10 suicide drones hitting their targets.

 

The IRGC also mentioned: “It is expected that many soldiers of the American Marine terrorists have been killed in this wave of attack.”

WANA (Mar 03) – The Director-General of Crisis Management at Hormozgan Governorate, Mehrdad Hassan-Zadeh, reported an airstrike by American-Israeli fighter jets on a fishing dock in Jask. He added that as a result of this attack, over 100 fishing boats, which belong to the local people, were severely damaged and caught fire.

 

According to the public relations office of the Hormozgan Governorate on Tuesday, March 2nd, Hassan-Zadeh emphasized that one person was injured in this airstrike.

 


Iranian Army Downs 7 Advanced Drones

 

WANA (Mar 03) – According to the 8th announcement from the Iranian Armed Forces, in the past few hours, seven advanced enemy drones were hit and downed in various locations across the country.

 

These drones were of types MQ-9, Heron, Hermes, and Orbiter, and were downed in the regions of Tabriz, Tehran, Isfahan, Khorramabad, and Bushehr by the air defense systems of the Iranian Armed Forces.

 

Including the drones downed yesterday, the total number of drones destroyed since the beginning of the war has reached 29.

Missile Strikes Hit Tehran Amid Ongoing U.S.-Israel Aggression

 

WANA (Mar 03) – In the early hours of Tuesday, March 03, 2026, as the fourth day of the U.S.-Israel-led offensive against Iran continued, several locations in Tehran were struck by missiles.

 

According to reports, the explosions were heard across various parts of the city, including central, northern, and western districts of the capital. Notably, the area surrounding the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation (IRIB) building, as well as the vicinity of the Shahid Mottahari Government Complex near Vali-Asr and Imam Khomeini Streets, were among the locations where missile impacts were confirmed.

 

Over the past several days, the missile attacks by Israel and the U.S. have targeted multiple sites across Tehran, including nine hospitals—five of which are located within the city—military and police facilities, as well as several Basij Resistance bases and key infrastructure related to the national media network.
