WANA (Jun 2) – Dr Gharibabadi, the Secretary of Human Rights in Iran, in response to the news of releasing prisoners with dual Iranian and Western citizenship, said, “2 Iranian citizens and one Danish citizen were released for humanitarian reasons.”

 

Masoud Mosaheb and Kamran Qaderi, two Iranian citizens who had spent four and a half years and seven and a half years of imprisonment (the majority of the sentence), and a Danish citizen, were released today for humanitarian reasons.

 

Massoud Mosaheb had been granted medical leave from prison for some time before this.
