WANA (Jun 4) – On the occasion of the passing anniversary of Ayatollah Khomeini, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, met with various sections of the Iranian people at the late Iranian leader’s shrine.

The most important axis of Ayatollah Khamenei’s speech was reviewing the hostilities of Western countries, recognizing their methods of enmity, and fighting them using techniques appropriate to the necessities and requirements of today’s world.

From the point of view of the government in Iran today, in hybrid wars, in addition to the street presence of rioters, the use of new media technologies, artificial intelligence, and the preparing an army of fake cyber accounts to influence public opinion, to create doubt and uncertainty about the events and conditions of the country, are essential and significant.

The extent of the media war front in last year’s riots in Iran was beyond the imagination of many experts. Recalling those days, Ayatollah Khamenei accused the Westerners of supporting the agitators by equipping them with weapons and hand grenades and killing security forces in Iran.

“The enemy’s last attempt was the previous fall riots (referring to the protest in 2022 & 2023 in Iran). The design of the riots last fall was carried out in the think tanks of Western countries. They also did a comprehensive plan. Western security agencies provided financial, media and weapons support.” Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Ayatollah Khamenei considers the failure of the Westerners during last year’s riots to be due to the lack of recognition of the Iranian people. He considered this miscalculation of the Westerners so prominent that even European and American politicians took a commemorative photo with the anti-revolutionary characters imagining the fall of the Islamic Republic.

President Macron of France supported the opposition of the Islamic Republic in hopes of causing the Iranian government to fall. However, this decision has cost France its historical prestige and weakened Macron’s political position. Furthermore, the oppositions and individuals he supported are among Iran’s notorious people and groups.

The mistake of Macron and his colleagues was not in their plot but in the calculation. They need more knowledge about Iran’s intellectual, cultural, and historical atmosphere.

Iranians are very sensitive about their country’s territorial integrity. Every Iranian considers this a non-negotiable matter. While the meeting between the President of France and a person named Masih Alinjad, known as one of the leaders of the opposition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, took place with the efforts and mediation of a Kurdish separatist group. Are the French complicit with the separatists?

“Their design was such that they thought the Islamic Republic was over. They felt they could enlist the people of Iran (against the Iranian regime). The fools made a mistake and did not recognize the people again.” The 80-year-old leader of Iran called Western leaders and security services “idiots” that the listeners enthusiastically approved their leader’s words with the slogan “Death to America”.

The Westerners’ miscalculations are not only shaking hands with the infamous and hated figures among the Iranian people. The mistake in calculating the quality and number of followers and supporters of the Islamic Revolution was another big mistake. On the busiest days of the riots, 70,000 people were in the streets across the country. While, in the marches of the Iranian people on various occasions, such as the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, more than 20 million people were present in the streets across the country.
